Brother Lawrence

// January 5th, 2010 // Biblical Studies

This is a mock interview of Brother Lawrence for my Biblical interpretation class. This humble monk served in a Carmelite monastery as a cook and as a repairer of sandals.

Considered a guru of his day with his incredible experiences with God and despite his lowly position (he was not even formally educated and was considered a layman), many people were attracted to his peaceful composure and profound wisdom.

After his death, his letters and notes were complied into the book “Practicing the Presence of God.”
