Consider the cost

// December 12th, 2009 // Biblical Studies

As soon as an unbeliever becomes a Christian, he is immediately transported into a war zone. He has immediately become a targeted enemy of Satan and his demons, the world, his family, and his own flesh. This paper looks at the consideration a person have before he decides to give Jesus his entire soul.

Here’s my exegetical paper from Dr. Holsinger-Friesen’s class, REL220. I examined the pericope of Luke 14:25-35 and considered the following questions.

  • What does it mean to follow Jesus?
  • What kinds of things should someone consider when looking at whether or not to follow Christ?
  • What does it mean to live life to the full?

Hopefully the paper will be beneficial and helpful for struggling Christians and give them the opportunity to consider what it means to follow Jesus.
